Case Study:

Some cases we can see Water, Fire and Mold damage all in the same claim. A couple returned from vacation to find that an electrical fire had burned a hole in their ceiling. The fire department put out the fire with water but it was several days before the homeowner was able to have a restoration company inspect the property. By that time the water had collected in the basement where it was warm and dark, and mold had begun to grow.

The first step was to board up the leak and then to remove the water and the wet structural materials. After that we used powerful dehumidifiers to remove the water in salvageable materials and contents. Once that was completed one team worked on the fire in the attic while another built containment in the basement where they began the mold remediation. After several days the work was complete and the home was ready for the contractors to put the house back together.
